The China Panda is considered one of the most successful gold bullion coins ever sold during the 80’s and the demand was so strong until it commands premium price much higher compared to its actual market value. One of the most intriguing features of the China Panda is the finely detailed design displayed on each of the coin and the fact that the design keeps on changing every year, makes them attractive as collectible items and thus the demand keeps on increasing regardless of price fluctuations.

China was the 3rd country to come out with gold bullion coins (after Canadian Gold Maple Leaf and the South African Krugerrand).
